Leo&Lucky’s Cares about the Community

leo luckys community

At Leo&Lucky’s, our owners are your neighbors. We are dedicated to serving the community, because it is also our community. A common misconception is that Leo&Lucky’s is part of a chain or franchise. We are actually an independent, Parrish family-owned pet store, offering services and products that are locally needed and desired by our customers.

We host the following veterinary services in the community:

  • Low Cost Vaccination Clinics: Twice a month, we offer low-cost vaccination clinics on Saturdays. A local veterinarian and staff are present at the store, providing annual vaccinations, rabies licensing, heartworm testing and preventative, and more.
  • Doggy Dentals: Anesthesia-free teeth cleanings are available monthly. Doggy Dentals usually take about 15 minutes and are performed on-site in a veterinarian’s mobile dental office. Advance appointments are required, and can be made by calling our store at 941.776.0770 or stopping by the counter in-store. Click here to learn more about Doggy Dentals.

Leo&Lucky’s holds regular free in-store educational seminars and fun community events. Most recently, we have held a seminar about feeding raw food. Don’t miss our annual Customer Appreciation Day in February (the bounce house, free local food, and vendor booths are always a huge hit!) or our yearly store-wide Anniversary Sale in the fall. Check our events calendar for upcoming events, and make sure you’re on our newsletter list (sign up at the bottom of this page!) to get your personal invitation!

Leo&Lucky’s is proud to sponsor numerous philanthropic causes every year. In 2017 and 2018, we have supported the following events and nonprofits in the immediate local area:
